Pre-Care and Post-Care Instructions

PRE-CARE SLIMWAVE INSTRUCTIONS

    • Drink water prior to your session to enhance the lymphatic drainage process.
    • Do not work out the day before or day of as your treatment.
    • Please bring comfortable clothing on day of treatment so that the treatment areas can be easily accessed and then removed after heavy sweating.
    • Do not wear any jewelry and remove all electronic devices prior to treatment.

POST-CARE SLIMWAVE INSTRUCTIONS

    • Drink several glasses of water upon completion of your session to assist your body with elimination of toxins.
    • For nursing mothers, it is recommended to express and discard your first collection of breast milk due to the need to eliminate toxins and flush out the lymph from activating major bodily functions from the treatment.
    • Resume normal activities.
    • Soreness and/or tenderness in the muscles are common.
    • Follow a healthy fitness routine, diet, and lifestyle to optimize and maintain your results.

How long is the treatment? How many sessions do I need?

Every patient is different and due to this, during your consultation, you will have a treatment plan catered to your needs. It is recommended for a patient to receive two treatments weekly, for 5 weeks. 45-60 minutes is the standard time for each treatment.

When will I see results?

While patients have seen positive results after 3-4 treatments, it is best to receive the full treatment plan catered to your needs.

Is there a recovery period?

Our patients can go back to their regular routines immediately after the procedure.

Will EMS help with my injury recovery?

Yes! EMS can play a role in the muscle rehabilitation of a variety of injuries. Low-intensity exercise has a positive effect not only on muscle recovery from high-intensity work but on the high-intensity work itself. While high-intensity exercise is anti-circulatory as it pumps up the muscles (restricting blood flow), low-intensity exercise promotes circulation, which aids in nutrient transfer and fastens muscle recovery.
